Vantage

Your customers already told you what is wrong.
Nine hundred times.

Vantage reads every review your stores collect, scores it, and sends you one page a week that says what changed and what to fix first. It runs on your own server and it is a one-time license.

Everything behind this page is that wall.

Nine hundred and forty reviews across three stores. Nobody is going to read them, and reading them is not the point — the point is the four things they keep saying. That is the whole job.

Packaging was a single thin bag — unsurprisingly it turned up dented.

One page, every week, in your inbox.

Not a dashboard you have to remember to open. The report is written and sent; if you never sign in again it still arrives.

31 reviews were collected between Jul 27 and Aug 2, averaging 3.03 stars. 13 were positive, 5 neutral and 13 negative. The most frequent complaints concern packaging, shipping and missing items. Customers most often praise customer support, ease of use and value for money.

Every figure is counted

Counts, averages, percentages, week-on-week changes and the rating histogram are calculated in SQL from your own reviews. A Vantage report cannot invent a statistic.

Themes carry quotes

Each complaint and each piece of praise is backed by a real customer sentence, so “packaging” is a thing someone actually wrote rather than a label.

Ranked, not listed

A SWOT and an ordered list of what to fix first, weighted by how many customers raised it.

03

And it interrupts you when it should.

A weekly rhythm is right for analysis and wrong for a fire. Five things break the rhythm, each with a threshold you set and a cooldown so a degraded store tells you once rather than once per run.

Sentiment drop

The seven-day mean falls below the four-week baseline by more than you set. Not the day it happens — the day the trend is real.

Negative spike

The share of negative reviews crosses your threshold, with a minimum review count so a quiet week with three bad reviews does not read as a collapse.

Rating fall

The average star rating drops against its own recent history, per store rather than across the account.

Volume drop

Reviews stop arriving. Usually a listing change or a broken integration, and usually noticed weeks late.

Collection failure

A source starts refusing you. Vantage tells you rather than quietly reporting on stale data.

04

What it costs to keep running.

Most tools in this category are a subscription with a per-review price behind it. This one is a script you own.

Running Vantage

$0 / month

The analysis engine runs on your own server. Sentiment scoring, theme extraction, weekly reports, SWOT and alerts all work with no external service and no key. This is not a trial tier — it is the product.

If you want AI-written analysis

Your own key

Connect Anthropic or OpenAI and the writing gets better. You are billed by them directly; Vantage adds no markup and takes no cut. There is a monthly token cap, and reaching it falls back to the offline engine rather than stopping.

05

What you need to run it.

A web installer handles the rest: it checks the server, tests the database before writing anything, creates your account, verifies your license, and then locks itself shut.

PHP 8.3+

With the usual extensions. The installer checks each one and prints the exact fix for anything missing.

A database

MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or SQLite. SQLite is genuinely fine for one store.

Cron

One entry, every minute. It drives collection, reporting, alerting and the weekly license check.

Nothing else

No Node.js at runtime, no Redis, no queue service, no external API, no monthly bill.

06

Two ways in, and one in your pocket.

One sign-in serves both surfaces. Which account you use decides where you land — the dashboard a store owner lives in, or the panel that configures the installation itself.

The dashboard

/app — the product. Overview and analytics, alerts, the weekly reports, every review scored and searchable, your connected stores, your settings and your team. This is where the work happens.

The operator panel

/admin — the installation. Branding, legal pages, workspaces, accounts and the license. Limited to a super admin, and nothing in the dashboard sends you here to get work done.

The mobile app

A Flutter companion for iOS and Android reading the same API — your figures, alerts and reports on the phone, with push when something crosses a threshold.
